The Chronicles of Wetherid II - Volume 1
The Guardians of the Seven Artifacts

Xaroth the Demon

An ancient force from the soul-realm — unknowable, unbound, and unlike anything born of flesh. His gaze alone bends reality. His voice stills even the strongest hearts. Xaroth knows no loyalty. Only annihilation.

Gorzod the Orc Shaman

Driven by the desperation of a broken people, Gorzod dares the unthinkable: the summoning of a demonic power. His scarred soul burns with vengeance. But can he truly master the darkness he has awakened?

Haloyan of the Mist Elves

A dangerous mist elf. Haloyan is cousin to Prince Sylvian — and his silent enforcer. Behind his stoic gaze lies cold calculation; his arrows fall without sound, without mercy. He is no servant. He is the knife in the fog.

Aelvor & Zelivra

They lead the Frost Elves with a frozen resolve. He is the silent tactician. She, the unleashed blade. Together, they are the deadliest form of order and wrath. Where Aelvor calculates, Zelivra strikes.

Grand Duke Aldion

Aldion of Kirindor — proud, forceful, and utterly convinced he is the rightful guardian of the throne. His patience is thin. And when trust breaks, Aldion does not hesitate. He acts.

Lady Merdiva

Elegant, poised — and dangerously astute. Merdiva is a master of Astinhod’s political stage, weaving influence and ambition with effortless grace. Behind her refined exterior lies a mind sharpened for power and advantage.

Konge Stojvar Icegaze

A seasoned ruler, disciplined and clear-eyed — a man who sees danger for what it is and does not flinch. Stojvar speaks with authority, weighs his decisions with care, and leads the Nordland not with spectacle, but with unwavering resolve.

Captain Halvard

A silent, steady seafarer with a sharp eye and a sure hand on the helm. Halvard knows the Northern Sea — and trusts in experience over words. Through storm and ice, he carries the companions forward with a calm that does not waver.

The Portal of the Shieldwall

An ancient gate beyond the bounds of time, hidden deep within the fortress of the Shieldwall. It opens into long-lost epochs — and tests all who would claim the legacy of the old powers.

The Ice Dragon

A primordial wyrm, its name long forgotten — born of the gods’ fury. Only one who speaks its true name may still the storm within and survive. It is the embodiment of the Nordland’s eternal frost.

Ice Rays

Massive, lightning-charged beasts with winglike fins and flickering tendrils. They circle beneath the frozen surface, sensing hesitation — and strike upward with violent force when their prey lingers too long.

Nivlings

Tiny, humanlike creatures — no larger than lemmings — hidden beneath the snow in a lattice of tunnels. Silent, swift, and rarely seen, they roam the Nordland with clever eyes and wary steps.

Elf-Druids of the Dark Forest

As guardians of the Life Tree of the Dark Forest, they possess great wisdom and magical abilities. They have a deep understanding of nature and a special connection to it, which allows them to transform into bears, owls, or lynxes.

The Thieves' Guild from Astinhod

The Thieves' Guild controls the underworld of Astinhod with keen tactics and dangerous persuasiveness. They are ruthless, power-driven, and pursue their goals with cunning and threats. For gold or other riches, they kill for their clients.

The Mages of the Island of Horunguth

The mages of Horunguth, once allies of the elves from the Glorious Valley, have previously defeated the race of the Entorbis, orcs, shadow elves, gray dwarves, and other shadow beings. They reside in a watchtower on their island, guarding over Wetherid's fate.

The Kajirs from the Desert DeShadin

The converters named by Sheikh Nam Al Kabun, the Kajirs, do not shy away from any atrocity. They roam the Desert DeShadin, converting free nomads with force, torture, or the threat of death.

Orcs from Raga Gur

The orcs from Raga Gur are fearsome and warlike, with greenish skin, massive bodies, and sharp teeth. They live for battle, worship war gods, and forge powerful weapons. They are allies of Erwigth from Entrobis, the Shadow Lord of Fallgar.

Snow Goblins from the Ice Mountains

Small, cunning creatures with dense fur adapted to icy temperatures. They move swiftly and silently through the snow. Their eyes glint with greed and cunning in the dark, and their sharp claws and teeth make them dangerous opponents in close combat.
